When you create a work shift for a staff member, you are indicating that you are selecting and scheduling them to work. A work shift can be connected to a call time, or it can be created independently.
If you first sent availability requests to check which staff are free to work, please find details here on how you can add a shift from an availability request.
You can jump straight into creating work shifts via these actions:
1) You can click on a call time (if defined) and a window will pop up and allow you to select staff that you would like to create shifts for.
2) You can click the blue Create Shifts button to pop open a window that allows you to search or filter for staff that you would like to schedule.
You can also easily create work shifts from availability requests (if you sent any). To do this, you’ll want to click on the Availability tab on the staffing page for an event, view your availability requests, and then for people that you would like to select to work you’ll want to click on the green “+ Add Shift” button to create a work shift for the staff member.
